Terms of Service

These terms apply to norariscrescent.shop and to every order placed with Noraris Crescent.

1. Who we are

Noraris Crescent is an online retailer selling Home furnishings and decor. We are an online-only retailer and do not operate a customer-facing showroom. Business & order fulfilment address: Shop No. 1, Ashiyana Apartment, Ashiyana Tower Cooperative Housing Society, Relief Road, Oshiwara, Jogeshwari West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400102, India.

2. Product information

Product pages describe size, fabric, pile height and seat count from the information available to us. Dye lots differ between production runs, so two rugs of the same shade will be close rather than identical.

3. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may decline an order that is out of stock, obviously mispriced, or bound for a PIN code our couriers do not serve, and we refund it in full.

4. Prices, payment and tax

Prices are in Indian Rupees and may change without affecting orders already confirmed. Payment is by UPI or Cash on Delivery. Applicable delivery charges are shown before checkout is completed. We are a small online retailer currently below the applicable GST registration threshold, so the business is not registered for GST, GST is not charged separately, no tax is added at checkout, and we cannot issue a GST tax invoice bearing a GSTIN.

5. Delivery, returns and cancellation

Governed by the Shipping, Return & Refund and Cancellation policies, which form part of these terms. Delivery windows are estimates.

6. Safe use

Use an underlay on a smooth floor so a rug does not slide, air a new rug for a day before it goes down, and follow the care note on the label rather than a general washing rule.

7. Using this site

Please do not copy our photographs or page text for another store, interfere with the site, or place fraudulent orders.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian law. Where permitted by law, our liability for a product-related claim is limited to the amount paid for the affected product. We provide no additional warranty through our store.

8b. Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable Indian law, and without limiting any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, goods are supplied without any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose beyond what the product page states. We add no store warranty of our own; where a manufacturer warranty is stated on a product page it applies on its own terms and is claimed from that manufacturer. Nothing here removes a statutory right you cannot contract out of.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act 2000) and the rules made under it, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (CPA 2019) together with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act 2023). Subject to mandatory consumer rights and applicable jurisdiction rules, courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra will have jurisdiction. No law of any country outside India applies to these terms.
